“Here, have another beer.”

“Thanks Weevil,” Rex said with a grin.

He was finally drunk, just as Weevil had planned and the blue haired duelist smirked.

‘This is almost too easy,’ he thought with amusement.

The dinosaur lover was pretty stupid so Weevil had figured with a little alcohol the idiot would pass out and he could steal his locator cards. He had to admit that the other duelist could hold his alcohol though. It had taken eight beers to get him to this point; Weevil would have been passed out by now if he hadn’t been pretending to drink.

“I didn’t realise you were such a cool guy,’ Rex said while throwing his arm around the smaller man’s shoulders.

“Not very many people do,” Weevil sneered while trying to tug away.

He wasn’t used to physical contact and it made him a little uncomfortable. Instead of letting him go, though, Rex just pulled him into his lap causing Weevil to freeze up. He had never gotten drunk before, wasn’t now, and he was fairly sure this wasn’t normal. Were you supposed to touch others like this when drunk? Rex had somehow managed to arrange Weevil so he was facing him with his legs spread on either side of the other man’s waist.

“Uh…Rex?” he said with a suddenly dry throat.

“Yeah?” the other duelist replied casually as he ran his fingers up Weevil’s back causing him to shiver.

Before Weevil got the chance to say anything Rex leaned in and took possession of his mouth, causing Weevil to exhale in shock. This was his first kiss and he had no idea how to react. Rex appeared to know what he was doing though and he seemed happy enough with the tentative pressure the bug duelist was putting into the kiss. The dino lover tasted like beer; which considering how much he had been drinking, made sense. Weevil placed his hands on Rex’s shoulders to steady himself as he leaned in closer. The other duelist suddenly leaned forward, sending Weevil to the ground with Rex on top. The bug lover stiffened again but Rex just wrapped his arms around him and seemed happy to fall asleep like that.

‘This was not part of the plan,’ Weevil thought as he tested the man’s grip and then sighed.

‘It looks like I’ll have to get his locator cards some other time.’

With the way Rex was holding him he wouldn’t be going anywhere soon. With that in mind he turned slightly so he could use the other man’s shoulder as a pillow. The situation could have been worse; Rex was warm and Weevil was actually pretty comfortable.
